  • Musical Theatre Dance Intensive (Grades 9-12) with Cat Brindisi

    Step into the world of Broadway with this six-week Musical Theatre Dance Intensive for High School students led by Asolo Rep’s Artistic Associate and performer/choreographer, Cat Brindisi. This unique experience introduces dancers to styles and techniques inspired by both classic and contemporary Broadway, while emphasizing teamwork and collaboration that mirror a professional rehearsal room.

    Through dance technique, across-the-floor work, and the process of learning an authentic Broadway-style musical theatre combination, dancers will:

    • Build foundational dance skills
    • Gain tips to pick up choreography quickly
    • Deepen their understanding of how to perform with confidence and personality
    • Strengthen their ability to dance with precision

    Whether you’re preparing for auditions or simply want to strengthen your technique while finding joy in movement, this class offers the tools and confidence dancers need to thrive as a professional artist in musical theatre. Open to all high school aged students; all experience levels welcome.

  • Acting Class for Kids (Grades 3-5)

    Step into the world of theatre with Asolo Rep’s Acting Class for Kids! This 6-week class is designed for curious, creative students in grades 3-5 who are eager to explore acting in a fun, supportive environment.

    Through acting exercises, theatre games, and scene work, students will:

    • Build confidence on stage
    • Learn fundamental acting techniques
    • Strengthen their voices and movement
    • Practice collaboration and creative expression

    The class culminates in a final in-class sharing for friends and family, where students can showcase what they’ve learned. No prior experience required — just a willingness to jump in, play, and imagine!
