Acting Class for Middle School
Step into the world of theatre with Asolo Rep’s Middle School Acting Studio!
This 6-week class is designed for curious, creative students in grades 6–8 who are eager to explore acting in a fun, supportive environment.

6-Week Musical Theatre Fall Intensive (Grades 9-12)
Take the next step in your artistic journey with Asolo Rep’s Musical Theatre Fall Intensive, a 6-week training program for passionate high school actors. This series is perfect for students preparing for college auditions or simply looking to sharpen their skills during the school year.
Guided by Asolo Rep’s professional artists and special guest industry experts, students will explore:
- Audition Technique – Learn how to present yourself confidently in both acting and musical theatre auditions.
- Monologue & Song Coaching – Receive personalized feedback to help you shine.
- Movement – Strengthen your stage presence and physical storytelling.
- Mock Audition & Feedback Session – Apply your new skills in a supportive environment.
Whether you dream of Broadway, college theatre programs, or simply want to level up your skills, this intensive offers conservatory-style training in a collaborative, creative space.
*This intensive is designed for students with prior acting or musical theatre experience and is not intended for beginners.

What to Prepare:
- Each student should prepare two monologues:
- Each monologue should be no longer than one minute in length.
- Each student should prepare two song selections:
- Each song should be 16-32 bars and in the correct key.
