Theatre for All. Powered by You.
When you give to Asolo Rep, you share the stage with every student, every artist, every story. Your generosity keeps world-class theatre alive in Sarasota – and ensures that everyone has a seat in the story. Theatre for all. Powered by you.
Your gift brings theatre to life for our entire community. Because of supporters like you, Asolo Rep reaches thousands of students through On Tour performances, acting intensives, and student matinees. We make it possible for everyone to find a seat—from families seeing their first play to veterans and lifelong theatregoers returning each season.

This year, students shared how life-changing their experience at Asolo Rep has been. Here’s what they told us:
Allie M. – Booker High School
“Allie shared how rare it is to find training like this.
‘I’ve never done an audition workshop before—specifically for college auditions. You can learn singing or monologue skills anywhere, but never the real audition process or how to talk to your composer.’Your support gave her access to guidance she couldn’t find anywhere else.
Alexia M. – Manatee School for the Arts (11th Grade)
Alexia described just how transformative this program was:
‘The biggest thing I learned was how to walk into an audition feeling confident and ready to tell my story. We worked with so many people—from the Master’s program, from Asolo Rep, and from the industry. As an actor, I gained so much—not just from their stories but from everything they taught us. It was valuable to be in a space where it was okay to fail. Even with professionals in the room, we never felt pressure to be perfect.’Your generosity gave her a safe place to grow, try, fail, and rise.
Bryn R. – Booker High School
Bryn found courage in the chance to stretch as an artist:
‘I learned a lot about going outside of my comfort zone and getting comfortable with being uncomfortable.’Because of you, Bryn left more confident than they arrived.
Silas – Booker High School (Sophomore)
Silas emphasized how different this program felt from anything else:
‘Classes like this—where you get routine feedback from the other side of the table—are incredibly helpful. Everyone here wants you to succeed. Compared to other workshops, you get so much more insight from the professional industry standpoint, especially if you want this as a career.’Your support didn’t just open a door—it gave Silas a clearer path forward.
Lisa P. – Riverview High School (Freshman)
Sometimes, the impact is summed up in just a few words.
‘Come to the Asolo!’Your gift is what creates that kind of joy and belonging.
