High School Acting Intensive

July 13 – July 17, 2026

Asolo Rep’s High School Acting Intensive is a week-long immersion in the world of stage acting. Led by professional artists and industry experts, students will train with working actors, directors, and theatre professionals to hone their craft. Students will develop essential performing skills in voice and speech, monologue work, scene study, and acting techniques. This program is perfect for students interested in a career in the performing arts and looking for focused, intensive summer training.

What to Prepare:  

Each student should prepare two contrasting monologues:

Each monologue should be no longer than one minute in length.
Monologues should be from a published play and memorized. If you can, please read the full play your monologues are from prior to the start of the program.
