ACTING TECHNIQUES I – Foundations of Acting

Discover the foundations of truthful, compelling performance in this introductory acting course. Through theatre games, ensemble exercises, improvisation, and open scene work, students will explore the essential skills every actor needs: imagination, courage, active listening, concentration, emotional honesty, and stage awareness. Together, we’ll answer the fundamental questions: What is acting? And how do we create authentic, believable performances? This class is ideal for beginners as well as anyone looking to strengthen their acting foundation.
