Remembering Joan Armor Mendell
Scenic Studio was made possible through a transformative gift from Joan Armor Mendell. Joan was a lifelong lover of the arts and a passionate philanthropist. Her support gave way to a greater capacity for stage scenery fabrication and stage prop rentals — empowering Asolo Rep to reach well past Sarasota.
The Scenic Studio Facility
Scenic Studio is not open to the public — however, clients are often permitted to discuss pending orders. Our facility is located in the Robert and Beverly Koski Center, near the Sarasota-Bradenton International Airport at 1009 Tallevast Road in Sarasota, Florida.
The Koski Center Expansion
Scenic Studio is growing! As part of ongoing expansions to the Koski Center, Scenic Studio will soon have additional resources for building, costuming, producing and shipping scenery for theatre productions across the country.
