Submission Process

• Literary Agents & Playwrights

  Literary agents and playwrights with professional representation may submit a play script electronically. Full-length manuscripts may be sent to playsubmissions@asolo.org.

  • If self-submitting, please include your agent’s name and contact information.
  • If sending a musical work, please include a link to some or all song demos.
  • Hard copies of scripts are not accepted.

• Florida-Based Playwrights

  Florida-based playwrights without representation may send a query letter, brief synopsis, complete character list and 10-page dialogue sample electronically to playsubmissions@asolo.org.

  • Please mention that you are a Florida-based playwright in your query letter.
  • Hard copies of script samples are not accepted.
  • Thank you for your patience as we review the high volume of play submissions.

• Non-Local Playwrights

  Asolo Rep does not accept unsolicited play submissions from unrepresented playwrights outside of Florida. Please do not call or email the Producing Artistic Director regarding submissions.
