2026 Costume Intensive

Join us for a hands-on, behind-the-scenes look at the art of theatrical costuming, led by one of Asolo Repertory Theatre’s most experienced costumers, David Covach. Students will read and explore a play, select characters, and bring their costume designs to life from initial sketches to finished pieces. Working inside Asolo Rep’s professional costume shop, students gain rare, real-world experience in a world-class setting. This unique intensive challenges young artists to grow creatively, build practical skills, and take the next step in their artistic training. Prior costume design experience is encouraged but not required.

Rising 9th– 12th Graders
