ASL Performances

See a show interpreted through ASL! We partner with VisCom, a RID-affiliated professional sign language interpreting agency, to offer at least one ASL-interpreted performance for every show in our season. Join us to see interpreters perform in ASL alongside Asolo Rep’s artists.

VisCom Interpreters

VisCom interpreters are highly skilled, trained and qualified to meet the linguistic needs of all deaf and hard-of-hearing patrons. They carefully listen to words, inflection and intent and simultaneously render the message in ASL.

To purchase tickets for ASL performances, please email us at boxoffice@asolo.org and request seating in view of the interpreters.

Our Sensory Friendly Performances

Step into a space that always excites, but never overwhelms. Asolo Rep’s sensory-friendly performances create a more comfortable environment for individuals who have sensory sensitivities.

Show Features

Sensory-friendly performances preserve the experience of our mainstage shows but modify it slightly to reduce potential stressors. These shows often include reduced sound levels, softer lighting, freedom of movement and relaxed theatre policies. 2025/2026 dates coming soon!
